Escape the darkness to Arctic and Fabulous Film Festival!
The programme of the eleventh Arctic and Fabulous Film Festival is vaster than ever before – now there are even more Nordic quality films available for everyone. As a novelty the festival introduces dvoted screening which brings forth productions created by young Nordic filmmakers. 34 fresh movies have enrolled in the domestic film competition and the award winning Swedish children’s movie Flickan is sure to interest the whole family.
In addition to the movies, the festival introduces a seminar called The Media is Ours (Media on meidän). The media expression and self expression of the children and youth are discussed (in Finnish) during the seminar. The special guests of the festival, Pete Revonkorpi and Henri Lindström, present their amazing and interdisciplinary work of art Eksyjä and also lead a workshop on media arts.
